How Letter Tiles works
Play with two to four players on a 13×13 board. Start with seven tiles, cover the centre on the first move, and connect later words to the board. New tiles must form one row or column, and every main word and cross-word must be accepted by the ENABLE English dictionary.
Score the words you create using tile values and letter or word bonus squares. Bonuses apply only to newly covered squares; blank tiles score zero. Playing all seven rack tiles in one turn adds 40 points. Swap selected tiles when at least seven remain in the bag, or pass when you cannot find a useful move.
The game ends when the bag is empty and a player uses their last tile, or after two complete rounds of consecutive passes. Remaining rack values adjust the final scores. AI difficulty changes the computer's vocabulary and play, while human submissions always use the full dictionary.
