Crazy Eights in a minute

Crazy Eights is a shedding card game for two to four players. Everyone starts with five cards, and the first player to get rid of them all wins the round.

  1. Play one card that matches the top of the discard pile by rank or by suit.
  2. An 8 goes on anything. Play one and name the next suit.
  3. Can't match? Draw a card, and play it if it fits.
  4. Go out first to win the round. Everyone else scores the cards left in their hand.

Scores add up from round to round. When anyone reaches 100 points, the game ends and the lowest total wins. An 8 left in your hand costs 50 points, so play them wisely.

What's at the table

The room has what up to four players need, so nobody has to set up a separate call or keep score on paper.

Invite in one tap

Share or copy the room link from the table. Friends join from their own browser, with no account.

See each other while you play

Start a video call from the table and each camera sits beside its player. Cameras are optional.

Playable cards stand out

On your turn the cards you can play are marked in your hand, so you never have to check the rules mid-game.

Pick the suit with an eight

Play a wild 8 and choose the next suit right on the table. Everyone sees the suit to play.

How many players can play Crazy Eights?

Two to four. Start a private room and invite friends, and the computer fills any empty seats.

Can I practise Crazy Eights against AI?

Yes. Solo mode deals you in against computer opponents without waiting for anyone.

Do we need accounts or downloads?

No. Everyone opens the game in a modern browser, chooses a name and starts playing.

Is it free?

Yes. Private rooms and games against the AI are free to play.
