Before the first jump
Select a piece and the board marks every legal landing. The highlighted holes shown here are the moves available to the selected piece. There are no captures; the first player to move all ten pieces into the opposite triangle wins.
Move one space
Move a piece into any neighbouring empty hole.
Jump over any adjacent piece
If the hole directly beyond an adjacent piece is empty, you can jump into it. You can jump over your own pieces or another player's pieces.
Chain several jumps in one turn
After a jump, continue to another highlighted landing when a legal jump is available, or end your turn there.

Is Chinese Checkers the same as Checkers?
No. Chinese Checkers uses a star-shaped board, pieces move in six directions, and nothing is captured.
How many people can play?
This version supports two, three, four, or six players.
Can I jump over another player's piece?
Yes. Any occupied adjacent hole can act as a bridge when the hole directly beyond it is empty.
Do I have to complete every possible jump?
No. Continue through another highlighted landing or end the turn when the current route is complete.
